Introduction

This teacher’s guide consists of three parts, best completed in this order:

Part 1: The Recycling Challenge - (PDF - 125KB)
Part 2: Recycling in Your Community - (PDF - 150KB)
Part 3: Media and Advertising - (PDF - 133KB)

The guide is designed to help you get your students thinking about waste, recycling and the media. Part 1 introduces the topic with a 12-minute video entitled “The Recycling Challenge” - a light-hearted look at newspaper recycling by Seven Network’s Big Arvo star, Ben Hewett.
