Norske Skog
Norske Skog Australasia, formerly Fletcher Challenge Paper, manufactures
more than 900,000 tonnes of newsprint annually - 90% of all newsprint
used in Australia.
Norske Skog has made a major contribution to newspaper and magazine
recycling in Australia by building a $135 million de-inking plant at
its newsprint mill at Albury, NSW. This plant processes 160,000 tonnes
of recovered paper a year, coming from publishers and from kerbside collections.
