The Recycling Process (continued)

Recycling Products

As well as being recycled into new newsprint at the Albury newsprint mill, your old newspapers and magazines put out for kerbside collection could end up being:

turned into Cardboard made into Kitty Litter
buried as garden mulch as ceiling insulation
into a ship for export

Paper that is dirty when it is collected cannot be used again, and ends up in the local tip. For this reason, it’s very important to keep your old newspapers and magazines clean and dry for recycling.

Find out more about Recycling Collection Systems on the next page.
